In addition to the above treatments, we recommend the following treatments to target specific problems identified with your lawn.

Worm control - September to February

Our liquid worm cast suppressant will reduce the worm casting activity and help prevent this unsightly problem by encouraging worms to burrow deeper into soil.

Moss control – All year round

If your lawn suffers from a heavy infestation of moss our professional moss control product may be required to treat the problem. Also bear in mind the cause of the moss such as thatch, compaction or lack of light must be treated or removed to prevent re-occurrence the following season.

Leatherjacket / Chafer grub control - November or March

We use the market leading treatment as it is the only total control for both of these UK lawn pests. Early signs of an infestation are birds pecking at the lawn feeding on grubs and irregular patches of dead grass that can be pulled up where grubs have eaten the roots. Call us early. Birds can devastate a lawn very quickly.

Wetting agent - September to November and March to May This liquid treatment helps retain moisture in the soil allowing it to be available to the grass roots, keeping your grass greener for longer . This means it will be aided through long periods of dry weather. With British summers getting drier it’s the perfect antidote for your lawn.
